Brigade ([BR]) is an alliance formed in free browser-based game Dark Galaxy.

Core founders were few Estonians who played DG from Round 3, in alliance named Zerg Brood.
In the beginning of year 2003 (Round 5), Brigade was created to accomodate new recruits, including international players. Because of mass-inviting, BR was slow and cumbersome. Next round alliance was reformed into structure that remained more or less the same in coming successful years- small group and Estonians only. Going national meant better co-ordination, faster response and people with involvement. Following years showed that this decision was right.

When Brigade is not officially playing, it's playing members form a successor alliance, X-Beer.
